Activities

Activities

Nature lovers or lovers plain and simple, lone wolves, adventurers, athletes or amblers: this picturesque spot leaves room for whatever you came to do.

At the campsite

The sandy beach by the Doux, with its sun loungers and the cliff behind

The beach and swimming

No swimming pool here, and none of its noise: instead a calm river of pure water, all around the campsite. The Doux is deep enough and warm enough to swim in summer — up to 24 °C — and springs feed it continuously, even in a drought. Fine sandy beach, private access.

The wooden playground: the little train, the climbing frame and its yellow slides

The playgrounds

Two large playgrounds, all in wood: a big climbing frame with slides, walkways and swings, a little train — a mini-Mastrou —, two trampolines, a turret and even a nest to lie in and swing.

The yellow fitness equipment on the lawn, by the river

The body boomers

For the older ones, a fitness area by the river with five safe pieces of equipment.

A game of table tennis in the shade of the trees, near the children's play area

Table tennis, pétanque, badminton and volleyball

A table tennis table, a pétanque court, a badminton and volleyball net.

At the campsite reception, the owner shows brochures on the counter

Games to borrow

At reception we lend you rackets, outdoor games, beach toys, a ring float, landing nets and board games, and there is a book cabin for swapping.

A child fishing in the Doux, standing in the grass on the bank

Fishing

The Doux is classed as a first-category trout river. Fishing is catch and release: bring your own tackle and fishing licence. Trout or crayfish, as the mood takes you.

A woman paddleboarding on the Doux, in front of the viaduct

River walking and paddleboarding under the Viaduct

The Doux is very deep just below the Viaduct. Entirely under your own steam, with your own equipment.

The relaxation area in the shade of a sail: bench seat, sun lounger, deckchair and hammock under the trees

The relaxation area

A corner to reconnect with nature and enjoy the moment: a hammock, sun loungers and a reading bench by the water.

The picnic area: a wooden shelter with a low table and chairs, and a picnic table on the lawn

The picnic area

For the pleasure of a meal shared with friends or family.

Children trying archery on a path in the campsite

High-season activities

A few outdoor activities in high season: games afternoons, archery, pebble painting, making small decorations from natural materials, gardening, discovering the area. And no evening events, to keep your stay peaceful.

The aromatic herb bed at the foot of a wall, with its sign and the tarragon label

The herb and medicinal garden

A small garden, a few steps from the restaurant.

The Doux flowing between rocks, under the trees on the bank

Watching wildlife

What could be more magical than netting crayfish, watching a heron take flight, listening to the owl or spotting the first stars at nightfall? A bucket, a net, and the adventure begins.

The three crosses at the top of the mountain, at the end of a broom-lined path, a dog leading the way

La montagne des Trois Croix

One of the three trails that start from the campsite climbs up to it. Views over the Doux valley and the Viaduc du Banchet.
