Campsite rules for camping grounds, drawn up by the Fédération nationale de l’hôtellerie de plein air (French national federation of outdoor accommodation).

These rules were drawn up under the aegis of the Ministère du Tourisme (French Ministry of Tourism), in partnership with the Direction de la Concurrence et la Répression des Fraudes (French consumer protection authority), the FFCC, representing users, and the FNHPA, representing the profession.
1. Conditions of admission
To enter and stay on the campsite, you must have been authorised to do so by the manager. The manager is required to ensure that the campsite is kept in good condition and good order, and that these rules are observed. Staying on the campsite implies acceptance of the provisions of these rules and an undertaking to comply with them.
No one may take up residence there.
2. Opening hours
Reception is open every day from 9 am to midday and from 3 pm to 7 pm. Access to the terrace is permitted from 8.30 am to midday and from 3 pm to 10 pm.
3. Police formalities
Minors not accompanied by their parents will only be admitted with written permission from them.
In accordance with article R. 611-35 of the French code governing the entry and stay of foreign nationals and the right of asylum (code de l’entrée et du séjour des étrangers et du droit d’asile), the manager must have every guest of foreign nationality fill in and sign an individual police form upon arrival. It must state in particular:
- surname and first names;
- date and place of birth;
- nationality;
- usual place of residence.
Children under 15 may be included on the form of one of their parents.
4. Setting up
Outdoor accommodation and camping equipment must be set up on the pitch indicated by the manager. Only one car is allowed per pitch.
5. Reception office
At the reception office you will find all information on the campsite’s services, information on where to buy supplies, sports facilities, tourist attractions in the surrounding area and various addresses that may prove useful.
6. Accommodation
Check-in takes place from 3 pm to 6.30 pm. For later arrivals, please let us know during the day so that we can make arrangements. Departures must take place before 11 am. After that time, a half-day flat rate applies.
A deposit of €150, including a €35 cleaning deposit (€200 including a €70 cleaning deposit for accommodation with its own sanitary facilities), will be required for accommodation; it will be returned to you on departure, after the inventory check.
The power supply is 10 A (2,200 watts). Appliances requiring more power (hair dryers, electric barbecues, electric planchas and electric kettles) may not be used. Please do not unplug the equipment we have connected and do not switch off the fridge. For everyone’s health, please smoke outdoors only (not in the playground) and take care not to throw cigarette butts on the ground.
7. Departure arrangements
Prices are displayed at the campsite entrance, at the reception office and in the sanitary block. Campsite users are asked to inform the reception office of their departure the day before and to settle their bill. Campers intending to leave before the reception office opens must pay their charges the day before. Likewise, campers staying only one night at the campsite will pay on arrival. For a long stay, a down payment will be requested and the account will be settled every 10 days.
8. Quiet
Campsite users are asked to avoid any noise and conversations that might disturb their neighbours. Sound equipment must be adjusted accordingly. Car doors and boots must be closed as quietly as possible. There must be complete silence between 11 pm and 7 am. No vehicle traffic is permitted during this time. However, the manager may exceptionally authorise a festive event.
9. Pets
- One or two animals (dog or cat) are allowed per pitch, on presentation of an up-to-date vaccination record. They are allowed in most accommodation, on request, for a supplement of €4/night.
- Category 1 and 2 dogs and exotic pets (NAC) are not accepted on the campsite.
- Animals must never be left to roam free. They must not be left on the campsite, even shut in, in the absence of their owners, who are legally liable for them.
- Animals must be kept on a lead on the campsite, on the terrace and by the river.
- Pet owners will take care to pick up their animal’s droppings on the campsite and by the river, and to take it outside the campsite grounds to relieve itself.
- They will make sure that it does not disturb the neighbours by barking. Animals may not be left tied up near the sanitary block, playground, etc.
- By the river, dogs are tolerated playing in the water, under their owner’s responsibility and on the express conditions that the dog behaves sociably and poses no risk to holidaymakers, and only when the riverside is not crowded.
10. Visitors
Once authorised by the manager, visitors may be admitted to the campsite under the responsibility of the campers receiving them. The camper receiving them must pay a fee insofar as the visitor has access to the campsite’s services and facilities. This fee is displayed at the campsite entrance, at the reception office and in the sanitary block.
Should this person stay one or more nights, the current “camper” rate will apply. Visitors’ cars are not allowed on the campsite.
11. Vehicle traffic and parking
Inside the campsite, the speed limit is 10 km/h. Driving is possible between 7 am and 11 pm. Parking is prohibited on vacant pitches and must not obstruct traffic or prevent new arrivals from setting up. Any additional car will be charged at the current rate.
12. Upkeep and appearance of the facilities
Everyone must refrain from any action that might harm the cleanliness, hygiene and appearance of the campsite and its facilities, in particular the sanitary block.
Waste water. Campers must empty their waste water into the facilities provided for this purpose. It is strictly forbidden to empty anything whatsoever into the river, paths or car parks.
Chemical toilets. Cassettes will be emptied in the appropriate room.
Rubbish. Household rubbish and other waste of any kind must be placed in the containers located at the campsite entrance, in closed bags. We ask you not to let bottles or other litter pile up on the pitch. Bulky items and large cardboard packaging must be taken by you to a recycling centre. A compost bin is available near the rubbish containers.
Sanitary block. For everyone’s well-being, please leave the sanitary facilities as clean as you found them. Parents must accompany their young children there. Please take care not to throw anything down the toilets that could block the pipes, and let us know of any blocked toilet. After use, the washing-up sinks must be cleaned and the strainer emptied of all waste. The small bins are intended only for small waste from washing up and showers. The Baby Area is exclusively reserved for washing young children.
Respect for the grounds. Plants and flower decorations must be respected. It is forbidden to drive nails into trees, cut branches or plant anything. It is not permitted to mark out the pitch by personal means, nor to dig the ground. Any damage caused to the vegetation, fences, grounds or facilities of the campsite will be charged to the person responsible. Campers will pick up their papers and cigarette butts daily. The pitch used during the stay must be kept in the condition in which the camper found it on arrival; rubbish bags and other waste must be removed.
13. Safety
Fire. Barbecues, open fires and campfires (wood, charcoal, etc.) are strictly forbidden on the campsite and by the river. Stoves must be kept in good working order and must not be used in dangerous conditions. Spirit or petrol stoves are strictly forbidden. In the event of fire, notify the management immediately. Fire extinguishers may be used if necessary. A first-aid kit is kept at the reception office.
Charging an electric vehicle on the campsite or in a rental accommodation is forbidden.
Flooding. In the event of flooding, an audible alarm will warn you to leave your accommodation immediately and go to the assembly point located at the campsite reception.
Theft. The campsite cannot be held liable for theft, loss, damage or deterioration of personal belongings or vehicles, during or following a stay. The management does, however, have a general duty to supervise the campsite. Campers remain responsible for their own installation and must report the presence of any suspicious person to the person in charge. Campsite users are asked to take the usual precautions to protect their equipment.
14. Games
No violent or disruptive games may be organised near the facilities. Children must always be supervised by their parents.
15. Notices
These rules are posted at the campsite entrance, at the reception office and in the sanitary block. They are given to any guest who asks for them. The classification category, with the mention “tourism” or “leisure”, and the number of tourism or leisure pitches are displayed. The prices of the various services are communicated to guests and can be consulted at reception.
16. Storage of unoccupied equipment
Unoccupied equipment may only be left on the grounds with the management’s agreement and only on the pitch indicated. A charge may be made for this service.
17. Breach of the campsite rules
Should a resident disturb the stay of other users or fail to comply with these rules, the manager will ask them to stop the disturbance. If this person does not comply immediately, the manager may ask them to leave the premises. In the event of a criminal offence, the manager may call the police.
