Coming together as a family…

Camping Le Viaduc has 3 large yurts sleeping 5 or 6, for the great clan chiefs who want to gather their tribes. They come from Kyrgyzstan, where they housed the Kazakh and Kyrgyz nomads of Central Asia.

The yurt — or “ger” — is made of a round wooden lattice frame, a layer of felt and a canvas held up by wooden poles, all painted by hand. Its roundness gives children a space to play in and adults a friendly place to relax with family or friends.

Good to know

The WOOD yurt stands out for its glamping furniture, entirely in wood. It has two bedrooms and a kitchen. It has no private bathroom: the nearest toilet block is a few steps away. One or two cats or dogs are accepted, kept on a lead.
