LARGE KYRGYZ YURTS

Camping Le Viaduc also offers 3 large yurts, each accommodating 5 or 6 people, perfect for large clan leaders wishing to gather their tribes. These yurts originate from Kyrgyzstan and were traditionally used as dwellings by Kazakh and Kyrgyz nomads in Central Asia.
The yurt – or "ger" – consists of a round, lattice-framed wooden structure, covered with felt and canvas, supported by wooden poles, all hand-painted.
Its round shape provides children with a playful space and adults with a welcoming place to relax with family or friends.
Traditionally, the round shape of a yurt evokes the celestial vault, and the central pillars, which are particularly revered, symbolize the cosmic axis, the connection between heaven and earth, the foundation of all spiritual practices.
Composition of the 3 large family yurts:
- WOOD yurt #15 for 5 people (new for 2025): 2 bedrooms (2 double beds and 1 single bunk bed) and a kitchen, furnished with high-quality wooden glamping furniture!
- Yurt #16 for 6 people: 1 living area with 1 double bed and 4 sets of bunk beds, kitchen, Mongolian-style furniture
- Yurt #13 with bathroom for 5 people: 2 bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 single bunk beds, and a Mongolian sofa), a kitchen, a bathroom, Mongolian-style furniture
Description:
- Capacity: 5 or 6 people
- Origin: Kyrgyzstan, all woodwork is hand-painted.
- Area: 30 m² on spacious, partially shaded grassy pitches
- Equipment: 3 rooms for yurts 13 and 15 (one singel room for yurt 16) with beds, bedside tables, various furniture, kitchen area with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, complete set of dishes, and electricity.
- Bathroom: Shower cubicle, sink, and toilet for yurt 13 - Sanitary block nearby for yurts 15 and 16
- Outside: Picnic table and deck chairs.
- Pets: 1 or 2 cats or dogs accepted, must be kept on a leash.
- Electric vehicle charging is prohibited (fire hazard). Charging stations are available in Lamastre.
